Walking in Winter can Save Your Life
More people have heart attacks in the winter than any other time of year because they stay indoors and don’t move their body, especially after eating. Walking after a meal is non-negotiable. No excuses. Too cold out? Wear more layers of clothes. Just do it. Your life depends on it. Heart health and lung health are vital. If you are constipated or have headaches or migraine headache, you need to drink more water and WALK for at least 20 minutes 3 times a day no matter what. Stop alcohol, sugar, dairy and refined carbs like bread, cake, pasta, pizza, cookies, crackers, cereal and warm comfort food.
No matter the weather or how cold it is, go outside and WALK!
