Eleven days before Dolly Parton died, the queen of country music addressed her health in a video message at Dollywood. Parton spoke on stage months before, sharing her life’s wisdom with the audience in Tennessee.

“Stay true to your roots. Don’t try to run away from yourself. Don’t try to outgrow your family, “Parton said. “Just always remember where you came from.”
